Last updated: 23 October 2026. This notice applies to howleres.pics and describes how enquiries about citizenship and repatriation assistance are handled. This site is an independent informational service, not an official government website.
1. Controller and contact
Data controller: DOOR TO ROMANIA EXTENSION SRL (Romania), CUI 50076595, Trade Register J2024001582132, EUID ROONRC.J2024001582132. Contact: [email protected]; telephone +40 21 319 33 18. The registered office address has not yet been provided and must be added before launch.
2. Data we may process
When you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, country of interest, stated family or residency connection, application stage and information you voluntarily include in an email. Technical hosting providers may process IP address, request timestamp, browser information and security logs. The quiz stores selections only in browser memory until you choose to open an email; it does not transmit them to our server.
3. Sensitive data
Citizenship and repatriation matters may involve ethnicity, religion, ancestry or other sensitive personal information. Do not send passports, religious records, identity numbers, medical records or sensitive documents through the initial form. Any later processing of special-category data requires a specific lawful basis and, where applicable, explicit consent and additional safeguards.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We use enquiry details to respond to requests and take pre-contractual steps at your request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); to secure and operate the website based on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)); and, only where appropriate consent is obtained, for optional marketing or nonessential tracking (Article 6(1)(a)). Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
5. Recipients and transfers
Information may be handled by hosting and email providers acting under suitable agreements. We do not sell personal data. We do not disclose documents to public authorities or third-party advisers without an appropriate basis and clear communication. If data is transferred outside the EEA, suitable safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, must be evaluated and disclosed.
6. Retention
Enquiries are retained only as long as needed to respond and satisfy applicable legal obligations. A definitive retention schedule must be published by the operator once its processes and jurisdiction are confirmed. Consent preferences persist locally until browser storage is cleared or the preference is changed.
7. Your rights
Where GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, object to certain processing and withdraw consent. Contact [email protected]. You may lodge a complaint with your competent data protection supervisory authority. Rights may be subject to legal limitations.
8. Advertising and Google services
We do not currently load Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tags, remarketing pixels or personalized advertising scripts. If added, the operator must disclose exact providers, purposes, cookie lifetimes, consent controls, and applicable Google Consent Mode signals, and obtain consent before optional storage/access where required. A privacy policy alone does not establish Google Ads compliance.
9. Security, minors and changes
We apply reasonable organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the processing. No internet transmission is perfectly secure. The service is intended for adults; minors should contact us through a parent or guardian. We may update this notice and display a new effective date.
